Fees

Our Fees

At no. 12 Chambers, both the Entity and the Chambers seek to ensure that there is price transparency to assist yourself when making a decision to instruct. The fees below are indicative to what the fee range is likely to be. We note that each case has to be assessed on its own merit and costed depending on likely time taken, complexity and other considerations. 

Entity fees

Immigration*

Fees are indicative for cases regarding immigration matters but will depend on a case by case basis. All fees are subjected to VAT.

Applications under the British Nationality Act 1981

£1,500-2,000

This includes naturalisation and registrations application

Applications under the EEA regulations or EUSS Scheme

£1,000-1,500

This includes EUSS applications for EEA nationals, their family and EUSS family permits.

Student and Work Experience Visas

£1,500

This would include in assisting applications for the PSW, higher education visas

Visit Visas

£1,000

This includes visit visas for tourism, family

Entry Clearance

£1,500-2,500

This would include spouse and partner applications as well as children

Applications under the PBS and work visas

£1,500

Home Office Sponsorship Licences

£5,000-8,000

Making applications to enable business to meet their needs by acquiring a sponsorship licence to hire overseas migrant workers

Dependent Relative and Family Reunion

£1,500

This includes Adult Dependent Relative visas as well as Family Reunion Visas under the asylum route

Other Applications for Further Leave to Remain

£1,500-2,500

This includes applications not elsewhere specified under the immigration rules such as under Appendix FM, Appendix Private Life and Appendix Armed Forces

Appeals in the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)

£2,000-3,000

The likely fee is dependent on the work required, complexity of the appeal and seniority of Counsel that would be required

Administrative Review applications

£500

This application includes the administrative review once an application has been refused or whether the client wants an internal Home Office review of the leave granted

Judicial Reviews (Upper Tribunal)

£3,500-4,500

This is a judicial review of the decision of the Home Office in the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber). We would first need to issue a Pre-Action letter prior to lodging the claim. Fees are like to differ based on complexity and time required


Family matters*

Below are an indicative range of fees for common family works carried out

No-fault divorce

£1,000-1,500

Lodging/responding to a no-fault divorce petition

Advice on financial relief

£750-1,000

This includes advice on financial relief, Form E, Maintenance Pending Suit and Adjustment Orders

Non-Molestation Order applications

£2,000-3,500

Depending on complexity and time required


Civil matters*

Civil matter fees are extremely dependent on a case-by-case basis and is normally estimated on the time taken according to an hourly rate

Senior Counsel (Call 8+years)

£300 per hour

This would be Counsel who holds an expertise in the legal area
